It is no secret that Alabama is well represented in the NFL. During the 2024-25 season, former Alabama players combined to score 886 points during the regular season. The Crimson Tide alumnus combined to break the previous record of former Florida State alumnus combining to score 705 points during the 2016 regular season.

The group was led by Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs. He had 20 total touchdowns. The three others that helped carry a lot of the weight in the points department on behalf of Alabama were Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (18 touchdowns), Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (16 touchdowns), and Philadelphia Eagles running back Jalen Hurts (14 touchdowns).

Other players that contributed to the point total in a big way were Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith, and Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. Each of which scored eight touchdowns a piece.

It will be interesting to see if the group can surpass that record in 2025. Two Alabama players that are heading to the NFL and could add to point total are tight end CJ Dippre and Jalen Milroe. Both of which are entering the 2025 NFL Draft.
