Alabama quarterback, Jalen Milroe has a chance to redefine himself as a prospect this weekend at the 2025 NFL Combine.
Milroe enters Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis as a player, who could really benefit from a good performance. Milroe is expected to garner more attention from scouts with the likes of top quarterback prospects Sheduer Sanders and Cam Ward expected to not participate in drills. This is why ESPN draft analyst, Jordan Reid believes the Alabama quarterback is a potential draft hopeful with the most to gain this weekend.
“We’ll for me, it would be Alabama quarterback, Jalen Milroe,” Reid said. “Who is without question one of the most dynamic athletes, regardless of position here. But with Shedeur Sanders not throwing and Cam Ward still uncertain on what he’s going to do at the Combine, Jalen Milroe has a prime opportunity to show that he has shown tremendous growth as a passer, which is the biggest question mark about him right now. Deep passing game is an area where he’s shown improvement but it’s the short to intermediate areas where he has to improve and show growth. But the forty-yard dash is something a lot of people are going to have their eyes on, I expect him to run really fast, but the throwing portion is where he needs to show growth.”
Milroe decided to not run the forty-yard dash but is throwing at the combine.
It will be intriguing to see how Milroe performs in front of league talent evaluators.
