Former Alabama defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand is signing with the Los Angeles Chargers. The two sides agreed on a two-year deal that will pay Hand $3.35 million dollars.

Hand has been in the NFL since 2018. The former five-star spent time with the Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, and Dolphins. In seven years, Hand has recorded 102 tackles and five sacks.

The Virginia native will be heading to the West coast to suit up for the Chargers in Year 8 in the NFL. Hand will team up with former Alabama players JK Scott, Najee Harris, Bradley Bozeman, and Justin Eboigbe. It will be interesting to see how the Chargers fare during the 2025 season in a difficult AFC West division.
