Tyson Bacon announced a verbal commitment to Miami on Tuesday.
Bacon attends Hoover High School in Alabama, and he is a 2026 four-star defensive lineman recruit. The Tide was expected to get him on campus for an official visit this weekend.
Bacon’s decision leaves the Tide with six commits in the 2026 class with two of them being players, who are expected to play along the defensive front at the next level.
