Alabama football’s starting running back Jam Miller is trending to not play in the SEC Championship game, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Miller went down with a lower-body injury against Auburn. He was listed as questionable in the Crimson Tide’s availability reports for the game.
“Alabama tailback Jam Miller (lower leg) faces long odds to be available against Georgia on Saturday in the SEC title game, as he’s listed as questionable,” Thamel posted. “He’s expected back for the postseason, as the injury isn’t considered serious.”
The Crimson Tide’s second-year running back, Kevin Riley is also listed as out.
Alabama football will likely have to lean on Daniel Hill, Richard Young, Dre Washington and AK Dear with Miller likely to be out.
