Alabama added a productive wide receiver from the transfer portal in Noah Rogers.

Rogers started his collegiate career at Ohio State as a former four-star recruit in the 2023 recruiting class. He played in four games for the Buckeyes as a true freshman before taking a redshirt and transferring to North Carolina State.

The North Carolina native made an immediate impact for the Wolf Pack as a redshirt freshman in 2024. He finished the season with 478 receiving yards and one touchdown on 35 receptions. He pretty much matched this production in 2025 when he finished the year with 441 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns on 33 receptions.

The new Alabama addition averaged 13.4 yards a catch and 33.9 yards a game this season. He was targeted 51 times with 33 of those targets turning into receptions and five of them resulting in drops.

Rogers immediately gives the Tide much-needed depth at wide receiver, and it is a major plus he has proven production at the collegiate level. Alabama had five scholarship wide receivers on its roster before landing Rogers. It remains highly likely every player listed at wide receiver for the Tide at the moment will have to contribute in 2026 at some point, and that is not a lot of returning production outside of Ryan Williams. One of those wideouts is true freshman, Cederian Morgan, so the experience Rogers brings is a win.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound wide receiver flashed signs of being a scrappy and tough wideout for North Carolina State. There were instances in which he showed he could create separation at the top of his routes, but he also displayed some good ball skills while pulling in contested catches and catches in traffic. He can also gain yards with the ball in his hands as a tough and effective runner after the catch.

If he can make the most out of its targets and be a consistent catcher of the football

Rogers is expected to come in and make an immediate impact in Tuscaloosa. The Tide rotated around six wide receivers in and out of its lineup throughout the season in 2025. The door should be wide open for Rogers to make a mark in 2026 for Alabama.
