Darias Johnson recently added an Alabama offer to his offer list.

Johnson attends Broughton High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, and he holds previous offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others. Earning an offer from the Tide is something the North Carolina product is really proud of.

“This offer means a lot to me, coming from a coach like coach Robinson and a program like Alabama,” Johnson told Touchdown Alabama.

Johnson’s Alabama offer comes from the Alabama’s outside linebacker coach Christian Robinson. The 2028 recruit is confident in the Tide’s ability to develop him into an NFL player if he were to choose Alabama in the future.

“Overall, I think it’s a great program and somewhere I can go to develop into an NFL player,” Johnson said. “Coach Robinson described it as a place where you have to be at your best all the time.

At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, Johnson is explosive off the edge, and he flashes the ability to bend the edge when getting after the passer. The sophomore is also strong at the point of attack when defending against the run.

“I feel like a major strength to my game is my arm length and the variety of moves I have in the pass rush, pairing that with the ability to stop the run,” said Johnson.
