Alabama football preparing for critical month

June is expected to be a critical month for the Alabama Crimson Tide, according to Kalen DeBoer.

The Crimson Tide welcomes back its players to campus for summer workouts after they were able to take a short break in May. Alabama will also host several recruits throughout the next month or so as the Tide attempts to lock in most of its 2027 recruiting class.

DeBoer referred to the next 30 days as important at the SEC Spring Meetings.

“But an important month ahead here for us in a lot of ways,” DeBoer said. “Big recruiting month, official visits starting this weekend, got the team starting workouts here. They’re back from a short break here in May. They hit the ground running. Had a lot of guys stick around even when they could get away. So. really pleased with kind of the mindset that we’ve developed, continuing to grow amongst this team here this season. Then just getting the opportunity to continue to develop these guys at meetings and workouts. So, big month. ”

Alabama is hoping to put together another impressive recruiting class in DeBoer’s third year recruiting as the Tide’s head coach. Six 2027 recruits are currently verbally committed to Alabama. DeBoer has expressed a desire to sign a smaller class this time around.
