Simmons is a 2027 wide receiver out of Selma High School in Selma, Alabama. Most recruiting sites have him rated as a three-star recruit at the moment. He is also considering Auburn, Baylor, Purdue and West Virginia.
Simmons’ Alabama offer comes after he camped in Tuscaloosa.
“It feels amazing,” Simmons said. “I trusted the process.”
The Crimson Tide will now most likely look to get him on campus for an official visit. Simmons is looking to get on campus for an official visit soon, but he does not have a date locked in. Alabama does not have a commitment from a 2027 wide receiver at the moment.
At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, Simmons is an explosive wide receiver who can be dangerous with the football in his hands. He is also an athletic wideout who has no problem rising to go and get the football in jump-ball situations.
