There is another lightning delay in the Florida State vs. Alabama game as lightning was detected within eight miles of Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The score is currently 21-13 in favor of Florida State. Alabama freshman wide receiver Cederian Morgan scored a 21-yard receiving touchdown before the lightning delay, and Florida State will have the ball when the game resumes.
In order to resume the game, NCAA protocol says there must be 30 minutes of no lightning in an eight-mile radius of the stadium.
The opening kickoff was pushed from 2:45 p.m. CT to 4:15 p.m. CT due to a lightning delay, and now, the first half will not come to an end for at least 30 or more minutes.
There is 2:36 on the clock. Alabama has two timeouts. Florida State has three timeouts.

UPDATE:Â The game will resume at 6:05 p.m. CT. There will also be no halftime. The teams will return to their sidelines after the second quarter finishes, and the third quarter will begin shortly after.
