Ryan Coleman-Williams to miss weeks of action

Alabama Wide Receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams (1) celebrates his touchdown against MSU at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field in Starkville, MS on Saturday, Oct 3, 2026.

Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams is expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks with a knee injury.

The star route runner underwent successful arthroscopic surgery after dealing with a meniscus injury to his left knee. Coleman-Williams will prove to be a massive loss on the Tide’s offense for the time being, and a handful of playmakers will undoubtedly need to step up in his absence moving forward.

Coleman-Williams is credited with a team high 415 yards and 4 touchdowns on 23 total receptions over the first six weeks of play. Star quarterback Keelon Russell will likely turn to Lotzeir Brooks and Rico Scott on an extremely consistent basis while Coleman-Williams remains out, but the route runner’s absence will certainly hurt nonetheless.
