Wide receiver is a position of depth for Alabama entering the upcoming season and with every position, someone ends up on the short end of the stick. Knowing that he may not play much in the fall, sophomore Daylon Charlot announced on Wednesday that he is leaving the program.

The 6-foot, 195-pound target from Patterson, La., saw in action in five games, while catching two passes for nine yards during Alabama’s 2015 national championship season. He was one of the nation’s top wide outs, upon enrolling in the Tide’s 2015 recruiting class as a four-star recruit.
