When he got Julio Jones to sign with the University of Alabama in 2008, it stamped Nick Saban as an elite recruiter in college football. Even with how ground-breaking that class was and others following it being special as well, the first verbal commitment for the 2019 group is making this unit to possibly be the greatest signing class of Saban’s tenure.
Pierce Quick, a five-star offensive lineman from Hewitt-Trussville High School, promised on social media that the class coming in for February would be the 67-year-old’s finest one and he has not disappointed.
He is responsible for bringing in the majority of the Crimson Tide’s 23 other commitments, including one that intends to show he’s bigger than his family legacy.
