Robinson is a 2020 defensive back out of Jacksonville, Florida,. He holds 21 division one offers. His latest offer from Alabama left with him with an amazing feeling.
“It is amazing,” Robinson said. “Every high school player wants one and wants to be wanted. It is great to have the opportunity to play with the best.”
The state of Florida has been good to Alabama in the past at the defensive back position. Saivion Smith, Ronnie Harrison and Patrick Surtain are all products of Florida. This pipeline of talent is one Alabama Hopes to continue in the furture.
Alabama’s defensive backs have made their fair share of big plays for the Tide. The dynasty that Alabama has built on the back of those big plays has built a tradition that Robinson said he feels is the expectation to win.
“It is a tradition now,” Robinson said. “You expect Alabama to win and is shocking when they do not.”
The 6-2 2020 recruit lines up mostly at cornerback. He usually plays a bump and run style coverage, which allows him to use his lengthy arms to disrupt passes in tight coverage.
Alabama is expected to have Robinson on campus in February. This visit should allow Robinson to get a deeper at look at what all the University of Alabama has to offer its student athletes.
