No opponent is on schedule this week for the University of Alabama, but Nick Saban is not one for wasting opportunities.

He and the Crimson Tide were outdoors on Tuesday after having Monday off. The team worked in sunny, 96-degree weather conditions as it returned to basic fundamentals. Prior to resuming conference action against Texas A&M on next week, Saban and the coaching staff want to make sure this team has everything in order for its push to the College Football Playoff.

Listed below are a few notes from practice.
