It’s been quite a newsworthy day for Alabama’s future schedule so far and it just got bolstered even more by adding another power five team. On Thursday it was announced that Crimson Tide has scheduled a home-and-home series against the Virginia Tech Hokies in 2034-35.
The first meeting between the two schools will be hosted by Virginia Tech with the following year hosted by Alabama. Both schools have squared off against each other a grand total of 13 times dating all the way back to 1932. Alabama leads the all-time series 12-1 with Virginia Tech’s win coming back in 1998 where the Hokies defeated the Tide 38-7.
This news comes on the heels of Alabama also scheduling a future home-and-home series against Florida State during the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

We’ve been working diligently at building future schedules that provide our team and our fans a lot of excitement and opportunity, and we are pleased to add the Seminoles to that mix.”
