It is definitely a time to celebrate and be thankful.
He never won a conference or a national championship; however, he was the one who set Alabama up for the success it would have in college football under Nick Saban.

John Parker Wilson, who played quarterback for the Crimson Tide from 2005-08, was a gifted leader and talented player. Upon graduating from the program, he held every significant passing record in school history. While fans appreciated his work as a player and now as an analyst for Crimson Tide Sports Network, Wilson is just happy to have a healthy child.
We have so much to be thankful for. Even more this year. Happy Thanksgiving.

On Nov. 19, the Wilson’s welcomed Peyton Wiles Wilson into the world.
At seven pounds, eight ounces, all the former Tide standout could do was smile as he shared a photo of his family on Twitter. A very special Thanksgiving to his family, prior to him getting a chance to work the Iron Bowl on Saturday versus Auburn.
Congratulations to Wilson.
