2020 3-Star tight end, Brandon Frazier, announced his top four on Wednesday and included Alabama along with two SEC schools and a Big 12 program.

Auburn, Texas Tech and the school Frazier was once committed to, Arkansas rounded out his top four. Alabama originally offered Frazier in May. They picked up their pursuit for the 3-Star recruit weeks before the early signing period as the Tide’s tight end coach, Jeff Banks, visited Frazier at his home earlier this month.
Frazier said Banks’ conversation with him centered around how he became the tight end and special teams’ coach at Alabama.
“It was good,” Frazier said. “He (Banks) was just talking about how he came to Alabama and how the system at Alabama works, how it is different from other universities and stuff like that.”
There is still no visit date set for Frazier to make it to Tuscaloosa. Texas Tech was the last team to host Frazier as they hosted him on Dec. 8.
Alabama currently has one tight end sign in its 2020 recruiting class with 4-Star tight end, Caden Clark’s, signature. Nick Saban expressed they could add on one more tight end in his press conference after National Signing Day.
“We got one tight end,” Saban said. “We still will entertain another one at that position.”
If the Tide continues to pursue Frazier, they will have to beat out teams, who have some factors working in their favors to get the Texas product’s signature. Arkansas once had a verbal commitment from Frazier and Texas Tech is an in-state school. Auburn is a serious contender due to the fact they hired former Arkansas head coach, Chad Morris, as their offensive coordinator. Morris’ departure led Frazier to de-commit from the Razorbacks.
Frazier is expected to sign to the school of his choice in December.
Alabama is also still recruiting 5-Star TE, Darnell Washington, who is expected to announce his decision at the Under Armour All-American Game.
