He has enjoyed watching his teammates have fun, but Jaylen Waddle is itching to return to action.
For Alabama football, the junior at wide receiver has been rehabbing his right ankle. He sustained an injury versus Tennessee on the first play of the game, and Nick Saban said he would miss the rest of the season. After respectable sources told yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine that Waddle was ahead of schedule in his recovery, he moved from his cast to a walking boot.

Paul Constantine, an Alabama Athletics Performance Coach, has been training Waddle to get his ankle stronger.
He along with Jeremy Gsell, Alabama’s Director of Rehabilitation, are putting the explosive wide out through a process.
In a video from Constantine, he said Waddle has an ‘absolute monster’ in rehab — both in the weight room and training room.
@D1__JW has been an absolute monster with his rehab. Both in the weight room and in the training room with @gsell_jeremy not much he’s not willing to do to get better. Using EMG on him today data to help guide the next steps of this rehab in the weight room. pic.twitter.com/m2FDnBRrc2

Waddle wants to do everything possible to get back with his teammates. He could potentially return by the College Football Playoff, and Tide fans are hopeful for it to happen. Should it get him back, Alabama would have its second dynamic playmaker at the right point of the season.
