Bryce Young ended the second scrimmage in the same manner as the first.

He received praise from Nick Saban, but the Alabama football head coach gave compliments to others in the quarterback room too.

In Saturday’s presser, Saban said Young played well again. He also mentioned that Jalen Milroe showed improvement.

As the Crimson Tide continues to shuffle players around on the offensive line, Young’s leadership is starting to take off.

Brian Robinson Jr., a senior at running back, spoke on his growth this week in interviews.

According to Saban, Young is getting better at taking charge and being ‘the man’ of this team.

“He’s done great,” Saban said of Young. “He knows the playbook really well. I told him one of the things he has to work on is having presence on the field. He’s done better and better at that. I think he realized what he needs to do to help the players around him to play better, and I think he’s done it very well.”
