Weaknesses: Maximal Velocity

Evaluation: Haynes is one of the most complete backs in the 2023 recruiting class. He runs the football with tremendous balance and frequently bounces off of tackles in open space. At 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds, he can run low to the ground, get behind his pads and run over defenders. He displays great vision while carrying the football and has elite footwork. He is always looking for open space to cut back to, and he does a good job of getting there by making smooth cuts. He is elusive enough to make cuts at the line of scrimmage. Haynes can also catch the football out of the backfield with his solid hands. He can smoothly transition from pass blocker to safety valve for his quarterback. The Georgia product has some speed and can breakaway without getting caught from behind, but he does not have a game-breaking speed. He is solid in pass protection as well. He does a good job at giving his quarterback a few extra seconds.
