Khurtiss Perry
Strengths: Plays With Violence, Explosive Off The Snap, Versatility, Has Powerful Hands, Quick Feet, Excellent Pursuit Of The Football
Weaknesses: Does Not Have Great Length
Evaluation: Perry plays with a violent edge. He is always looking for an opportunity to annihilate quarterbacks. He can rush from different positions across the defensive line and use different rushing techniques to make the opponent feel him. He can use his quick feet to put defensive lineman on their heels to go around them or he can just blow past them with his explosive speed off the snap, especially off the edge. He knows how to turn make himself skinny and split lineman to get into the backfield, and he knows how to use his hands to shed blocks. He is not as long as other Power 5 defensive line prospects at 6-foot-2, but he more than makes up for it with his ability to operate in open space. He has great closing speed and has great backside pursuit. He attacks plays going away from him and makes punishing tackles.
