Evaluation: Washington is a physical defensive back with an impressive frame at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. His physicality and strength are on full display when he is making tackles in the open field as he is often seen picking ball carries off the ground before throwing them down. He is capable of making effective and secure open-field tackles in space. He knows how to break down, gain control of his body, initiate contact and bring his arms to finish tackles. He can get downhill quickly to help in run support with his elite speed. The Alabama commit clocked in at 10.84 when he ran the 100-meter dash at the FHSAA 4A Region 2 Track Meet in 2021. That speed makes him a threat as a returner as well. Washington has a High I.Q. and can anticipate where the ball is going and attack it with his good ball skills. Venice used him at safety and at cornerback during his junior season, showcasing his versatility.
