LSU, Texas and Auburn rounded out the 4-Star recruit’s final schools list. Alabama is recruiting Brockermeyer and his twin brother, Tommy Brockermeyer. Touchdown Alabama caught up with James earlier this month and he said Nick Saban and Alabama’s offensive line coach, Kyle Flood, had both been in contact with him.
“I have been on zoom calls with coach (Kyle) Flood about once a week and we have FaceTime Nick Saban multiple times as well,” James said. “They have been talking about the ways they can develop you and the culture they have there along with an awesome winning tradition.”
A decision date has not been set for either Brockermeyer brothers, but their dad, Blake Brockermeyer, told yours truly they have seen enough from each school they are considering and if they wanted to commit without taking any other visits, they are confident they can make the right decision.
James’ brother and 5-Star offensive lineman, Tommy, had a similar top school list to him. Although Clemson was included in Tommy’s Final 5.

The offensive line position is a priority for Alabama in the 2021 recruiting cycle and both of the Brockermeyer twins look to be two of the Tide’s top targets.
