Jalen Milroe has the respect of this Alabama football team and everyone knows it.

The redshirt junior is back at quarterback and eyes a national championship opportunity. He guided the Crimson Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff appearance in 2023, regardless of being benched for Alabama's week three matchup versus South Florida. Milroe finished his sophomore campaign with 2,834 passing yards, 513 rushing yard, and 35 total touchdowns. He has been training this offseason and looks much better as a complete quarterback.

Caleb Odom, a five-star freshman, loves Milroe's leadership. The talented wide receiver highlighted his signal-caller in an interview with Roger Hoover of Crimson Tide Sports Network.

"Jalen is definitely a character," Odom said. "He is funny, but what I like about Jalen is as soon as the early enrollee freshmen came in ... he is not one of those guys that says, 'I am not going to talk to them or whatever because maybe they are too young.' As soon as all the freshmen enrollees came in, he talked to all of us. I remember he and I would always be joking. He made us feel like we are a part of this team. Getting to know him as been cool for sure. He is a good guy and a great leader."

He created the Let All Naysayers Know or "LANK" acronym that players got behind last season.

Milroe rallied everyone together to play its best football from the Ole Miss game to the remainder of the year. He has individual accolade he could win as a quarterback in front of him for the fall. Milroe is focused on winning and making this Crimson Tide dangerous in Kalen DeBoer's first season.
