On Thursday, Alabama football had three players to make another All-American Team for a marquee selector.

Dallas Turner, an outside linebacker, was one selector short from becoming a Unanimous First-Team All-American.

The junior gained recognition from the Associated Press (AP), Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), Sporting News (SN), and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) as a first-teamer. The Walter Camp Football Foundation (WCFF) was the selector that chose Turner as a second-team All-American. He does not join his former Crimson Tide teammate, Will Anderson Jr. as a Unanimous All-American, but Turner is the lone Consensus All-American for this Alabama team.

He posted 50 total tackles -- including 13.5 for loss and nine sacks.

The South Florida native leads the Tide in sacks, tackles for loss, and quarterback hurries (13).

Turner joined Jalen Milroe (quarterback) and Malachi Moore (defensive back) as a permanent team captain. He helped Alabama to a Southeastern Conference Championship and has it back in the College Football Playoff. Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold, boundary cornerbacks for the Tide, earned second-team honors from the American Football Coaches Association.

Arnold leads the secondary for pass breakups (11) and interceptions (five). McKinstry has seven breakups and allowed 183 yards to receivers this season. Turner, Arnold, and McKinstry are prepared to handle Michigan's offense in the Rose Bowl.
