Tristan Jernigan reported a recent offer from Alabama football after camping in Tuscaloosa in June.

Jernigan, who is committed to Texas A&M, is a 2024 linebacker prospect out of Tupelo High School in Mississippi.

Alabama’s defensive line coach informed the Mississippi product of his offer from the Crimson Tide.

"Freddie Roach called me and offered me," Jernigan told Touchdown Alabama. "I was kind of shocked because I went up there to do a private workout, and they saw it and were very impressed. I just didn't know what to expect."

Jernigan went on to give his thoughts on Alabama as a program.

"My overall thoughts on the Alabama program are that they are about getting those players that are going to win games, and I love to win more than anything in this world,” said Jernigan. “It's just the standard at  Alabama.”

The rising senior revealed he is unsure what this offer means for his recruitment at the moment, but he does plan to visit again in the future.

At 6-foot-2 and approximately 200 pounds, Jernigan flashes impressive reaction skills at linebacker. He operates well in space and can play sideline to sideline with great efficiency.
