It has not been a good month for a former 2017 College Football Playoff National Champion for Alabama.

Isaiah Buggs, who attended East Mississippi Community College before spending two years at Alabama, has been charged and arrested twice this month in Tuscaloosa, Ala. His first offense was two misdemeanor warrants for second-degree  cruelty to dogs, but law enforcement got him again Sunday via Tuscaloosa County Jail records on charges of second-degree domestic violence and burglary.

Buggs, a native of Ruston, La., signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Jan. 4.

He spent two seasons with the Detroit Lions and three as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former second-team All-SEC selection in 2018 earned a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs for the 2023 season, but he is facing turmoil with the law.
