Alabama football fans mourned the loss of Khyree Jackson in a fatal car accident on July 6, but now another former Crimson Tide player in his critical condition.

Terrance Howard, a native of Missouri City, Texas, came to the University of Alabama as a walk-on defensive back in the 2023 signing class. A product of Ridge Point High School, he helped the Tide to a Southeastern Conference Championship.

Howard decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal and go to North Carolina Central. According to reports on social media and a Go FundMe account, Howard was involved in a horrible car accident. In the Go FundMe report, it said he got out of his car to render aid after the accident and was hit by a car. The severity of his injuries has him fighting for his life in critical condition.

The goal is to get Howard the best medical treatment, and then transition him to Houston (Texas) where his family is.

People who will donate to help Howard will provide him with the following:

-Emergency transportation from Charolette, N.C. to Houston

-Life-saving specialized treatment

-Any additional costs related to his long and arduous road to recovery

Over $30,000 ($30,533) has been raised for Howard in donations.
