Alabama fans have enjoyed watching Jermaine Burton and Isaiah Bond dominate as wide receivers.
They are appreciating Tommy Rees incorporating Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice more.

The Crimson Tide looks for balance in its offensive attack, but supporters have been concerned about the whereabouts of one receiver. Ja’Corey Brooks, a junior, has been limited all year for the Tide. He has three catches for 30 yards: a complete drop from where he’s been the last two seasons. The South Florida native emerged as a true freshman in 2021, catching two touchdown passes from Bryce Young. Brooks saved the day in the Iron Bowl versus Auburn with a 28-yard touchdown grab late in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 10. He would return in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl against Cincinnati with a touchdown as well.
Last season, Brooks led the team with eight touchdown catches.
He has not been the playmaker many expected him to be, but Nick Saban revealed the reason for it in Monday’s presser. Brooks did not record a reception versus LSU last week; however, he caught a touchdown pass in the matchup with the Tigers in 2022.

“He’s been a little hurt, and that has contributed to his role to some degree,” Saban said about Brooks. “He has been great. He’s done a great job on special teams. He has done everything we have asked him to do. When he has gone into games, he’s done a good job of doing what he needs to do. He got his shoulder banged up, which has been an issue for him all year in the game.”
Hopefully, Brooks can get healthier in time to contribute to the offense.
