Recruiting never stops, and most recruitments are not over until pen hits paper and a National Letter of Intent is signed.

This will be no different for Alabama during the 2025 recruiting cycle. There are a few Tide commits of note to keep track of over the next several months before the early signing period in December. These prospects are worth paying attention to because they have continued to visit other schools and/or have very strong relationships built elsewhere.

Here is a look at those commits:

Caleb Cunningham - 5-Star WR

Cunningham is a recent Alabama commit, so flipping him is going to be a difficult task for anyone who chooses to take on the task. Auburn seems as if it will at least take a shot. The Tigers will most definitely not be the only team, who will continue to recruit Cunningham hard. The fact most of the schools he considered before committing to Alabama are located in the Southeast, it gives him an opportunity to continue to take visits throughout the season.

The Mississippi product is just too talented to back off of at this point with in-season recruiting having so many different possible outcomes.

Anthony Rogers - 4-Star RB

Rogers is the Crimson Tide’s longest-standing commit, and a trend seems to be developing with long-standing commits. To keep it simple, it is difficult to hold on to a prospect’s verbal commitment for a long time, especially if they committed to the staff before you and continue to test the waters.

The Montgomery, Alabama product has been committed to Alabama for over a year. Auburn, Georgia and Ohio State are expected to continue to be involved with the ultra-talented back. These teams are not going to back off this type of back if it seems as if they have a window to get him.

Rogers remains committed to Alabama but has remained open to officially visiting other schools.

Derick Smith - 4-Star ATH

Smith simply just does not get talked about enough. He is one of the most versatile prospects in the country. He could legitimately play at all three levels on defense in college or be a physical wide receiver.

Auburn was once a favorite to land Smith before he committed to the Tide. It came as a bit of a surprise how fast the new Alabama staff was able to flip the switch on the notion the Tigers were the preferred destination for Smith.

However, Smith’s commitment has not stopped him from visiting Auburn with another visit set to happen.

Justin Hill - 4-Star Edge

Hill is also a recent Alabama commit and according to him his decision came down to the wire with him coming to a comfortable decision on the morning of his announcement.

Ohio State was right in the thick of things for the Cincinnati, Ohio product before he announced his commitment.

It would be surprising if Hill did not go to any Buckeye games this season, and if a school can get a prospect on campus, the chances to get him are still somewhat still alive. It will be interesting to see how Hill handles his recruitment moving forward.
