Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver, AJ Brown knew he would have success in the City of Brotherly Love after one workout with Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith.
Brown was traded to the Eagles in 2022, and he joined Hurts and Smith on the offensive side of the ball. One raining morning made it evident teaming up with the two former Alabama players was a great idea.
“I reflect back to the moment we both linked up, and we all worked out, and we was running the hill in the rain at five in the morning, that told me everything about these guys, which I knew Jalen,” Brown said. “I didn’t really know DeVonta as much. But to see those guys and just the mindset that told me everything I need to know, and we’re just trying to get it done. Two super bowl appearances in three years, it’s a blessing from God. I’m grateful. Trying to finish, you know, that don’t happen, that don’t happen. Guys don’t get to the, to the, to the, to the Super Bowl. You know, we are very blessed. Just trying to make the most of it.”
Eagles will take on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl next month.
