The Tennessee Titans rested Tuesday and Wednesday, but it will return to practice Thursday for a fifth training camp session. Titans’ head coach Ken Whisenhunt likes what he’s seeing from first-round draft pick Marcus Mariota at quarterback, but he’s also paid attention to former Alabama standout Jalston Fowler.

Fowler, 5-foot-11, 254 pounds, has impressed the coaching staff with his knowledge and sharp movements at fullback. Will Lomas, writer for SB Nation on the Tennessee Titans, said Fowler will get a lot of time this season with the first-team offense. The former Crimson Tide fullback was selected in the fourth round (108th overall pick) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Fowler totaled 738 career rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns and seven touchdown receptions in his tenure at Alabama (2010-14).
