New Orleans secondary takes a hit. Vinnie Sunseri down

New Orleans Saints defensive back Vinnie Sunseri was carted off the field in the second quarter, after sustaining a knee injury on punt coverage in Sunday’s preseason game against the Houston Texans.

The former Alabama standout was drafted in the fifth round (167th overall pick) of the 2014 NFL Draft. Sunseri’s knee injury is perceived to be serious and possibly season-ending, per Matt Verderame of Fansided. He was a member on two national title teams at Alabama.
