WR Gehrig Dieter releases highlight tape

Rick Osentoski - USA TODAY Sports

Get excited Alabama fans. Next season could be very special at the wide receiver position.

A week after visiting Tuscaloosa with his father, Crimson Tide graduate transfer wide out Gehrig Dieter released his highlight tape to Twitter. The footage, which lasts almost five minutes, consists of exceptional footwork in route running, breakaway speed, solid hands and strong body control.

This is coming from a player who posted 1,661 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 139 catches during three seasons at Bowling Green (2012, 2014-15).

Dieter, 6-foot-3 and 208 pounds, looks to contend for a starting spot in 2016.

“Me, myself and I” is the song featured on his highlight tape, courtesy of rap artist G-Easy and Bebe Rexha. Major League Baseball Hall of Fame selection Lou Gehrig is the first voice heard on the video.
