Barron, a former Alabama standout, led the team in tackles with 116 last season. He chimed in with a sack, four forced fumbles and five passes defended.
Barron, who turns 27 this October, enters his sixth NFL season in the fall.
Los Angeles needs to improve things on offense, especially at quarterback but re-signing Barron keeps its defense stacked.
The Mobile, Alabama native won two national championships (2009, 2011) and a Southeastern Conference title in 2009 with the Crimson Tide, prior to being taken by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
