After impressing coaches and teammates with his technique during minicamp, defensive tackle Jarran Reed went through the first session of OTAs this week with the Seattle Seahawks.

The former Alabama standout was taken in the second round (49th overall pick) of the 2016 NFL Draft. He wore No. 90 in two seasons at Tuscaloosa, but will don No. 93 for Seattle in the fall.

Reed led all defensive linemen in tackles (57) in 2015, while totaling 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, eight quarterback hurries and two pass breakups in 15 games. He and the Seahawks agreed on a four-year, $4.889 million contract on May 5. The deal includes $2.878 million guaranteed and a 1.756 million signing bonus.
