Kamieon Compton-Nero has the Alabama Crimson Tide in his top five, and he loves what the program brings to the table.

Compton-Nero is a 2028 four-star athlete out of Owasso High School in Oklahoma. He currently has Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and SMU in his top five.

Alabama’s staff is consistent in its contact with Compton-Nero, and it appears to be a lot of interest from both sides.

“I love everything about Alabama; the tradition, the program, the development, school and coaching staff,” Compton-Nero said. “All of those reasons are why, along with Coach (Kalen) DeBoer, (Tony) Jones, and (Kane) Wommack pushing for me to play for Alabama and invest in me and my family. I talk to the staff several times a week, and they are really starting to dive into where and how I can help the team.”

The Tide had the junior on campus earlier this season, and he is excited about returning for a visit this season.

“I will be back in Tuscaloosa for another game later in the year or playoffs for sure,” Compton-Nero said.

The 6-foot-3, 187-pounder is productive on both sides of the football for Owasso. The Crimson Tide feels his versatility would allow him to be a versatile defender in Tuscaloosa.

“They like my versatility and ability to work in a lot of spots in their defense; all safety spots and possibly nickel in time,” Compton-Nero told Touchdown Alabama. “They also know what I can do on the offensive side and not against me helping on that side if I can help the team.”
