He commanded everyone’s attention as a freshman last season, but Calvin Ridley has more in store for Alabama fans next season. One person that’s excited to see the sophomore is Crimson Tide quarterback and Ridley’s teammate in the 2015 All-America Game, Blake Barnett.
Barnett, who has been training all summer with ESPN quarterback coach George Whitfield, took time to release a highlight video on his friend for 2016. The video captures a few of Ridley’s marquee moments from Alabama’s run to its 16th national championship a year ago.

The 6-foot, 188-pound wide out set the Tide’s single-season receiving mark with 89 catches for 1,045 yards and seven touchdowns in 2015. Barnett is one of four quarterbacks vying for the starting job in the fall. A chance for the two friends to start together next season is possible.
