Trent Richardson has the confidence of an NFL running back, but needs the durability.
He will undergo arthroscopic knee injury after sustaining an injury at Ravens’ minicamp, per Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun. Richardson, a former first-round pick, missed a week of organized team activities due to a hamstring injury. Despite the Ravens signing Richardson back on April 18, the former Alabama standout has to battle five running backs for an opportunity at a roster spot.
Ravens RB Trent Richardson likely needs arthroscopic surgery on knee. Pre-existing issue. He will miss some time.

Not a major injury for Richardson, but anything that takes him off the field is problematic. Had steep climb to make team as it is.

He was awarded offensive player of the year, courtesy of the Southeastern Conference. Richardson ended his tenure with 3,860 career yards from scrimmage and 42 touchdowns. He was a member on two BCS national championship teams in 2009 and 2011.
