It led all Southeastern Conference teams with 14 players named to Athlon Sports’ All-SEC Team, but now Alabama football returns with eight guys named to the publication’s All-America Team.

Athlon Sports released its preseason All-America Team on Wednesday, with Alabama and Clemson both having eight players named (most by any program).

The Crimson Tide had four players—Calvin Ridley, Cameron Robinson, Jonathan Allen and JK Scott—listed as first-team selection, which was the most among all programs.

It would also have two players apiece named to the second and fourth team.

Cam Robinson, offensive tackle

Jonathan Allen, defensive end

JK Scott, punter

Second team

Reuben Foster, linebacker

Eddie Jackson, safety

Fourth team
