Looks like Damien Harris’ mom likes to joke around a bit.
The sophomore running back’s mother took to Facebook Wednesday to poke fun at Crimson Tide fans.
Harris mother wrote:
“It is with a very light heart that I announce Damien has decided to leave the University of Alabama and transfer back home to EKU!! I know this may come as a shock to some but hey it is what it is! Everyone who said he was too much of a Mommas Boy to leave…well, apparently you were right!”
Let’s make it clear: Harris is going nowhere.
Now that the worrying is out of the way, we can all laugh. Lynn Harris deleted the post, but followed up with a post reassuring worried fans.
Why would Harris go anywhere? He did serve as Derrick Henry’s backup last season (as a true freshman), and will look to make noise, splitting time with Bo Scarbrough.
Lynn Harris, you are one funny mom… well, now you are after clarifying Damien isn’t going anywhere!
