Five-star linebacker Lyndell “Mack” Wilson has voiced all offseason about his excitement in being an Alabama player. He got inked up to show his love for the university and its team, along with complimenting some of the older guys that are in his position group.
Wilson was already looking at a three to four-month recovery process after having surgery on his shoulder back in March, but now the Montgomery native has another obstacle to fight.
He shared news via Twitter on Monday, concerning a significant knee injury.
I'll be back don't sleep on me 💯🙏🏾 #SpeedyRecovery

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker enrolled in the Tide’s 2016 recruiting class with fellow five-star Ben Davis. He is scheduled to undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus. Most of his action would have came on special teams next season, but now all Wilson can do is brace himself to fight off another setback.
