He logged the majority of snaps during Thursday’s game against Detroit, connecting on 10 of 15 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. McCarron led Cincinnati on a 77-yard drive (12 plays) in the second quarter, which ended on a 12-yard pass from him to wide receiver Tyler Boyd for a score.

In two preseason games, the former Alabama standout and three-time national champion has completed 67.7 percent of his throws, while racking up 220 passing yards and two touchdowns.
