TUSCALOOSA– Alabama defensive star, Tim Williams, has been arrested and charged with carrying a gun without a permit. Williams was arrested around 1 a.m., in his vehicle.
Last season, Williams made a name for himself as a pass rusher. He registered 10.5 sacks. To date, he has 1.5 sacks going into this week’s game. Nick Saban hasn’t commented on the arrest yet.
Recently, guard Alphonse Taylor was found not guilty of driving under the influence. Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones dodged a bullet when a Louisiana prosecutor decided not to pursue charges against the two, for drugs and weapons.
Williams took to Twitter this morning.
