TUSCALOOSA— After being limited through two weeks of practice and not participating in games against Mississippi State and UT-Chattanooga, Bo Scarbrough will play this week against Auburn.
The 6-foot-2, 228-pound sophomore running back suffered a bruised knee against Louisiana State University back on Nov. 5. During his presser on Monday morning, coach Nick Saban said Scarbrough went through pre-game drills and could have played last week, but the staff decided to rest him.
“Bo should be back this week,” Saban said. “He should be able to practice more and be game ready.”
To this point, Scarbrough’s best game came against Tennessee. He totaled 109 yards and a touchdown on five carries. The Tuscaloosa native is fourth on the team in rushing with 358 yards and five scores on 62 attempts.
