The New York Giants are trending upward.
As NFL media personnel begins to put together Pro Bowl selections and end of the year award nominees, expect them to have second-year defensive back Landon Collins in mind.
During the Giants’ five-game win streak, the former Alabama safety has been on a tear. He’s totaled 43 tackles and became the first player since Phillippi Sparks (1995) to record an interception in four consecutive games.

The 6-foot, 225-pound safety returned to victimize Carson Wentz, Andy Dalton and Jay Cutler, helping New York earn wins over Philadelphia, Cincinnati and Chicago. Coach Ben McAdoo’s team is now 7-3 (2-3 start), while Collins leads the defense in tackles (80) and interceptions (five) and touchdowns with one.
