Through 13 games, he’s guided Alabama to an undefeated season, a conference title and the No. 1 seed heading into the College Football Playoff. The Channelview, Texas native chimes in with 2,592 passing yards, 841 rushing yards and 34 total touchdowns, while posting a completion mark of 65.3 percent.
In breaking down all four teams in the playoff, Sports Illustrated unveiled its cover for Alabama football on Tuesday. The illustrious work has the Tide’s dread-headed assassin escaping a Florida defender, during its 54-16 victory over the Gators in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game.
