The battle of the Lane Kiffin sweepstakes comes down to three programs, Houston, LSU and South Florida.
Despite Houston being a little more attractive talent wise, multiple sources have confirmed with Touchdown Alabama Magazine that Kiffin is headed to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.
With that being said, Kiffin will take his three years of transforming Alabama’s offense and team up with Ed Orgeron to help the Tigers. The 41-year-old has been a major component for three Southeastern Conference championships and a national title in 2015, while helping multiple Tide players obtain monumental awards.
He’s mentored two 3,000-yard passers and has helped true freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts compile a record-setting season. At the conclusion of the playoff, Kiffin will go to LSU if Houston or South Florida don’t hire him.
