If Chicago lands him, the NFL Draft could get interesting.
Despite listing secondary help as its lone top need on defense, head coach John Fox and the Bears could possibly look at selecting a linebacker. According to a tweet from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the franchise had dinner with former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster on Sunday.
#Bama LB Reuben Foster had dinner last night with the #Bears staff and is visiting the team today, source says. Chicago picks No. 3.

Both parties are scheduled for a visit today, as the Bears have the No. 3 overall pick in April’s draft.
Chicago has not had a presence at linebacker since Brian Urlacher (2000-12), who was taken with the ninth overall pick in the 2000 draft. He was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection. Foster is regarded as the top-ranked inside linebacker prospect in this year’s class, following his output of 115 tackles (team high) a year ago.
